The anthems that unite us, the milestones that trace our journey since 1997, and the dedicated team carrying the vision forward today.
Our anthems and pledge are our guiding declarations, shaping outstanding ambassadors who make a transformative global impact.
From our founding through decades of growth, these landmark moments trace the story of a school that never stopped reaching higher.
On 21 April 1997, Lord's Schools opened at Idi-Igba/Eleekara — founded by Rt. Reverend Olugbenga Olukemi Oduntan with just two pupils, in an uncompleted building used by St. Stephen's Anglican Church, Eleekara. Miss Olatundun Olawale was the pioneer teacher.
On 16 March 1999, provisional approval to open a Nursery School was granted by the Oyo State Commissioner of Education — a formal milestone marking the school's official recognition.
Lord's Secondary School launched on 18 September 2006 with nine pioneering students (seven in JSS1, two in JSS2) and six pioneer teachers. Mr. S.A. Olatunji was the pioneer principal. A blended Nigerian and British curriculum was adopted from the start.
Today Lord's Schools serves students from crèche through to secondary level — consistently recording strong WAEC, NECO, JAMB, IGCSE, and SAT results, and continuing to build confident, well-rounded leaders for Nigeria and the world.
